Effective April 1, the North Texas Conference changed insurance carries to MHBT. The new insurance coverage requires that the NTC recognize MinistrySafe as the official resource for safety awareness.
In addition, each church will have a loss prevention on-site visit from MHBT, and MinistrySafe will be one of the requirements. MinistrySafe replaces the Safe Sanctuaries training that has been taught and encouraged over the past few years.

Focus on the Need for a Policy:
Communication with
children can be difficult at times, especially on the topic of human
sexuality. Created By God is a helpful resource that emphasizes a
healthy biblical and Christian perspective on human sexuality, values,
and relationships. Written for (5th) fifth- and (6th) sixth-graders, the
training will enable participants to train in classroom sessions,
individual references and studies, and provide for discussions with
parents.
